Mandalas

Mandala IX

Mandala III
The Mandalas series revolves around symmetry, repetition, and spatial depth. The images are mirrored along vertical and horizontal axes. This creates symmetrical structures reminiscent of classical mandalas. The motifs – flowering branches, delicate intertwining twigs, organic patterns – remain recognizable despite the mirroring. With anaglyph glasses, the motifs can be experienced as three-dimensional sculptures, creating a paradoxical sense of space: the image space appears both real and unreal, physical and ornamental.
